How much does a no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomy cost ?

Less than you might expect! The total cost for a no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomy performed by Dr Venter is NZD$425.00. This includes the pre-vasectomy consultation, the procedure itself and the analyses of all post-vasectomy semen samples.

Dr Venter performs all vasectomies in one of the purpose-built minor surgical theatres at Henderson Medical Centre, in West Auckland. It is through having these dedicated surgical facilities on-site in a general practice setting that allow him to perform vasectomies at such a cost-effective price.

Dr Venter is also an Affiliated Provider with Southern Cross Healthcare. If you have medical insurance, check the policy to see whether it covers some (or all) of the cost of having a vasectomy. Most medical insurance policies cover the cost of vasectomies to some degree, so it does pay to check this ahead of time.
